The Lady Evelyn Lake Dam is located on the Mattawapika River, approximately 0.4 km upstream from its confluence with the Montreal River. This dam controls Lady Evelyn Lake flow into the Montreal River above Bay Lake. The original timber crib dam built in 1916 was replaced with a concrete structure in 1924.
